1. Scope of Privacy

General Register Manager is committed to protecting the privacy of school administrators and students. This policy describes how educational records, personal info, and identification details are handled within our application databases.

2. Information We Collect

To generate certificates (Leaving, Bonafide, Birth sheets) and manage standard ledgers, we record school-provided student information:

  • Identity Fields: Full name, mother’s name, gender, date of birth, birth place.
  • Government Identifiers: 12-digit Aadhaar Card number.
  • Financial Info: Bank Name, Account Number, and IFSC code for scholarship/verification.
  • Academics & Attendance: Admission date, current standard/class, monthly logged attendance, leaving class & reason.
  • Contact info: Parent mobile number for direct communication.

3. How Data is Utilized

All data is utilized strictly to provide active services:

  • Autopopulating print layouts for official school certificates.
  • Syncing offline updates made on the Android/iOS Flutter client app.
  • Processing monthly attendance summaries to identify low-attendance students.

⚠️ We never sell, lease, or share student data with third-party advertising networks.

4. Data Security & Storage

Our databases are managed on Supabase with robust row-level security (RLS) constraints. This ensures that no school admin can read or modify another school’s records. All administrative API calls require secure session verification tokens (JWT) matching your authenticated school.
